Who we need As we continue to grow, we need to bring on board a Buyer. Reporting to the Purchasing Group Manager, this is an opportunity to coordinate the purchasing of materials, parts, equipment, and supplies for our growing global organization. So, how do we know you are the new Buyer? You have: -The education and experience. You have a college diploma or a university degree in Business Administration, Materials Planning or Supply Chain Management. Ideally, you are pursuing APICS or SCMA designations. You have 2-3 years of experience buying/planning and procuring materials and supplies preferably for a Manufacturing Procurement or related field. You know how to write and evaluate RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs. You understand the details, guidelines, restrictions, and requirements of the bidding process and contract management. -The technical skills. You have experience with: -MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. -ERP and MRP systems. -The communication abilities. You are well spoken and can build internal and external relationships.
