We will cover major, minor and blues scales, chord structures, common chord progressions and improvisation. Technique and sight reading will also be covered. * Teaching approach: I will focus mainly on developing your inner creativity and giving you the basic tools to be able to play along to any song you hear, and to compose your own music. We will be spending more time on the piano itself rather than drowning in theory books. Of course we must learn theory, but only for the express purpose of allowing it to assist you as you learn new music and improvise.
