$25 · Vintage Occupied in Japan Ceramic Donkey Pulling Cart Figurine/Small Planter
Dating back to the post war period, likely between 1945-1952 when the US & Allies Occupied Japan after the End of WW2, this vintage ceramic piece crafted as a work donkey pulling a cart is a perfect for decorative purposes or to hold a very small plant in the interior portion of cart.
Measuring at about 6" long and 2" across and in lovely condition with no chips or cracks and with only some minimal crazing on the underside with age, this piece is also nicely hand painted and finished with a gloss glaze.
So cute, and sure to find a place right at home, on a windowsill or office as an ideal piece to hold paperclips, change and other miscellaneous items!
